Who are we?

The LSZYSN is a non-profit organization composed of PhD students and Post-Doctoral researchers from ETH and University Zurich. Our goal is to connect life scientists with their career opportunities beyond academia.

What is the Zurich Life Science Day?

Over the last 10 years, the ZLSD has grown into the largest job fair for life scientists in Switzerland. Each year, more than 700 participants are brought together in one place. This year, the keynote lecture will be given by Frances H. Arnold (chemistry nobel laureate of 2018) who will talk about her career and the „Innovation by Evolution: Bringing New Chemistry to Life“

Throughout the day, there will be 12 informative talks aimed at exposing life scientists to career paths outside academia. In the company exhibition, young talents of tomorrow can network with company representatives, discuss career opportunities and create visibility. We will also feature informal 1-on-1 meetings, where participants can book private meeting slots of 15 minutes with one of the company representatives.
