Professor Petrowsky hat im Januar 2013 die Leitung des chirurgischen Teams des Swiss HPB-Zentrums Zürich übernommen. Er ist ein international bekannter Chirurg, der seine Ausbildung am Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City begann und anschliessend seine Spezialisierung in HPB-Chirurgie und Lebertransplantation im Swiss HPB-Zentrum erhielt. Danach wurde er Consultant an einem der grössten Lebertransplantationszentren der Welt, der University of California Los Angeles in den USA. Er unterstützt neben der Leitung des HBP-Teams auch das Team der Lebertransplantation.
