Best specialist clinic in Switzerland 2024

The USZ Obstetrics Clinic was evaluated for the first time this year by the “Handelszeitung” in collaboration with the German market research company Statista and immediately took the top spot at this premiere – well ahead of the competition. The fact that medical experts gave very good ratings in the online survey underlines the clinic’s high reputation throughout Switzerland. The clinic’s new premises are also making an impact: the equipment in the birthing rooms scores highly as a “standout treatment”.

Our offer for parents-to-be

  • Child planning support
  • Care during pregnancy on an outpatient basis with experienced physicians, midwives, lactation consultants, and ultrasound specialists.
  • Care for pregnancy problems with a highly specialized prenatal team of midwives, nurses, physicians, physical therapists, psychologists, and a team of social workers and pastoral counselors.
  • Care during childbirth with a large team of midwives, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, surgical assistants and neonatology specialists around the clock, 365 days a year.
  • Postpartum care with physicians, nurses, lactation consultants and physical therapy specialists.
  • Patients with supplementary insurance have the option of a private consultation.
