Congratulations to Patrick Schürch from the Theocharides lab for obtaining a competitive one year Hematology Research Grant by the Jacques & Gloria Gossweiler foundation in cooperation with the Swiss Society of Hematology. In his project entitled “The role of protein degradation pathways in calreticulin mutated myeloproliferative neoplasms” he will explore how calreticulin mutated cells adapt to protein misfolding and whether these mechanisms may be targeted therapeutically.
